i love what god chooses me for. thinking about estelle’s quantum energetics, i feel called to “drop acts” as Kinlaw would say and be my overly excitable animated autistic big mouth self—in a similar way relationships act as centerpieces of art practices because it simply evokes joy. i am in a performance group this month led by Kinlaw, and already swimming in a sea of authentic relating.
pulling my hoody over my head splat in an upward Balasana pose I murmured, “So, I’m going to sing my songs.” A soft moanful celebration from the group followed. I felt seen, or rather, I let them see me and it was nice to choose that for joy. It is about being willingly and joyfully present with surrender—biocompassing as estelle coined. Everyone around me is talking about curiosity like it is our Bible and that makes me feel incredibly safe to be vulnerable. it brings me deep physiological relaxation when i hear and observe people be my future now.
